CloudCar (53K) The set adequately reproduces the Cloud Car from the movies. Alas, its one of the lesser designs from the movies.

The highpoint of the set is the bald Minifigure (not many bald ones out there, eh?) and his Lego blaster. The Bespin planet isn't a bad addition - as it is nice and generic and equally suited to being an asteroid that the ships and star fighters can fly past.

Alas, this set gets hardly any play action.

RepublicAssaultShip (95K) The set nicely replicates the iconic ship from the movie. There are only a few parts that are fiddly to assemble, and shouldn't be a problem for the younger enthusiasts.

All of the parts are commonly available - in fact, I've built mine out of spare parts in the Lego box! However, it does use a lot of the angled wing plates, so others may not find it as easy to assemble.

Due to the dearth of Imperial capital ships in our Lego collection, this one is actively played with almost every day - even in original trilogy and later themed battles (that's despite it being from the prequel series!).

The Clone Trooper Minifigure is another good addition to a Lego Star Wars collection - they are also regularly played with (albeit only during prequel series battles). The real prize, on the other hand, is the rifle that comes with it - one of the more rare weapons in the Lego Minifigure arsenal! The set is an excellent investment for display, as well.

Bwing (73K) The B-Wing is a good addition to a Star Wars micro or mini-fighter collection. I missed it when it was first released, but have built it out of spare parts in the Lego box. Which means that there are very few parts in the set that are not commonly available.

We've found that when assembled as per the instructions, the wing blasters have a tendency to fall off during regular play. Beefing them up with a 1x2 stud plate solves the problem, but isn't a good solution for those putting the set on display and occasionally swooshing it around.

Tantive4 (95K) The ship is quite an accurate reproduction of the iconic Tantive IV ship. Construction was pretty straightforward, with only a few sections that were fiddly. It's also a very solidly constructed set that rarely disassembles itself in the Lego box.

Almost all of the parts are commonly available. In fact, I've been able to assemble a sister ship out of spare parts!

The play value of this one is off the charts. It's out of the Lego box every day - no doubt involved in play inspired by the ongoing Star Wars Rebels TV series. Nevertheless, it's a great set to swoosh around, as well as put on display.

The Minifigure, on the other hand, is nicely designed. Alas, he hardly ever sees any play.
