Left/Down: The structure of the helmet used by Ozuma is the same as that of the other Skull Platoon members. The Skull Platoon unit emblem is marked on the forehead.

Down: The Skull Platoon members in their pilot suits. Ozuma was the most physically fit of the team members, and had enough hand-to-hand combat skills to fight with the cyborg Brera.

Up: The pilot suits provided to S.M.S. troops share the same specifications for each part of the suit, except for the personal colour that is applied to it. The suit is partially covered in protectors, and the backpack was made compact.

Right: Ozuma's personal colours are black and yellow, and his pilot suit also uses a colour pattern based on those two colours.

One of the memories with Ranka that Ozuma valued was the one about pineapple cake. Ozuma made it at home to please Ranka around the time that her spirit was closed, and as he has no sense of taste, even the compliments for the unskillfully made pineapple cake were not delicious ones. However, Ranka ate it, and after the incident, she opened her mouth and called Ozuma "big brother". In addition, that recipe was directly handed down by Kathy, who was going out with Ozuma at the time, and the cake was something that also invoked memories of his relationship with her.

Ozuma was a passionate fan of the rock band Fire Bomber, to the extent that he used their song titles for squadron flight formation names. As far as his youth is concerned, he aspired to be Nekki Basara in particular, and is said to not have had any doubts about Basara's skills as a pilot. In addition, Ozuma is considered to have had car and motorcycle hobbies.

Caption: In the operation to rescue the surviving Galaxy Fleet warships, Ozuma used a formation named "Planet Dance".
