Related Matter: Misa Assumes The Position Of Captain Of The Megaroad 01
Even though a great number of Space Emigration Projects came to take place, what ought to be commemorated is the Megaroad 01 that left the Earth in 2012 and became the first Space Emigrant Ship. Hayase Misa took the duty of being the captain of that ship. Even though the offer to her seems to have been by at-the-time Supreme Commander Bruno J. Global, the period that she had that conversation was just when her love affair with Hikaru had become complicated; and it's said that she was thinking about resigning from the armed forces. However, she was deeply impressed by the high ideals of the project, which she heard from the Supreme Commander, and she consequentially accepted the duty. She came to assume the position of the captain of the Megaroad 01.

Left/Up: Misa's appearance when she became a captain. As it is the uniform of the captain's position, it has a design that differs from that of the female officers of the Unified Forces at the time.
