Commentary
In succession to Rex in episode 20 "The Temptation Of The Ladies", this time Sybil possesses Akiko and approaches Basara. Even Basara cannot conceal his confusion in Akiko's sudden change, and unusually for him, he is shown flustered.
Mylene, who witnesses just such an appearance of the two and misunderstands that Basara indiscriminately seduces women, is convinced that among the women that surround Basara, he has not seduced only her, and she is depressed. From Mylene's appearance, where she suspects Basara's female relationships, and gets hurt feelings while taking offence, one can feel the subtleties of the delicate tremblings of a girl's feelings.
Also, we would like you to notice the sublime VF combat by Mira's and Gamlin's aircraft with the Varohta Forces. The two who were initially disconnected, coordinated on the battlefield, and upon seeing the extraordinary combination of being shot by Mira in an area being covered by Gamlin made the enemy force retreat. At that splendid cooperation and intensely forceful activity, one should be able to say that the military results uniquely apply to the combination of an elite teacher and student, who were once pilot instructor and trainee.

Miria unintentionally revealed her fixation on red, her personal colour, when she boldly repainted the black VF-17 that she herself boarded. That fixation completely descends to her pilot suit and helmet, and although small differences can be seen in the new suit, they are united by the colouring, whose main constituent is red, the same as the suit that she wore in the First Interstellar War.

As a privilege of being the mayor, Miria drove around one of the military's top secret VF-17S, which had been turned into private property. She shows a cheerful attitude similar to having dispelled the resentments of official business as the mayor when she got in the Valkyrie, or it was the throbbing of her Zentraadi blood. Her skills as a pilot have not declined, and she easily operated the VF-17S merely by getting into that state-of-the-art aircraft.
