Commentary
The episode where Mylene grows through the restoration of Max and Miria's relationship. Her plan, which mediates and works out her parents' relationship by secretly inviting the two to a live performance, is absolutely a simple one like that of a 14 year old, and it is also pleasing. Mylene, who receives her parents' strong encouragement as a result, succeeds in manifesting the Sound Booster's power for the first time as if the hard fighting up until now was a lie. From this, one can grasp that the singer's state of mind is closely linked to the output of Song Energy.
Also, in order to substantiate that, Ekisedoru said, "it's not that the Protodevilun heard the sound, it's that the spirit shook them". Certainly, by being the one whose spirit was shaken before by the thing called culture in the First Interstellar War in the kiss scene between Ichijo Hikaru and Hayase Misa before his very eyes, delivered this line's persuasive power, and it was able to become a famous line.

Topics: The Creativity Of The Protodevilun
The Ehbil Series (the Protodevilun's bodies) and the Zentraadi were both manufactured by the Protoculture as combat soldiers. As depicted in "Super Dimensional Fortress Macross", the Zentraadi weren't originally endowed with creativity, and the group of armaments that they possessed were, to the last, relics bequeathed by the Protoculture put to heavy use. On the other hand, during this episode, Gabiru personally develops a Hearing Protection System, and establishes the Protodevilun's creativity. However, the Protodevilun are an unknown mental energy that came flying from another galaxy and possessed the Ehbil Series, and Gabiru's endowment of creativity might have been something that originated in the abilities of that mental energy.

Topics: The Historical Backdrop Of Mylene's Birth And The Jiinasu Sisters
Max and Miria think nostalgically about Mylene when she was a baby. 2031, the year that she was born, was the era where the Super Long Range Emigration Plan was still just getting started and the future of space pioneering by Macross Emigrant Ships was being offered to people. In addition, Mylene is the youngest child in the 7 daughters (8 if one includes the adopted daughter), and some of them have appeared in other productions in the Macross series.

Right: eldest daughter Komiria Maria ("Super Dimensional Fortress Macross")

Left: fifth daughter Emiria ("Macross 7 The Movie: The Galaxy Is Calling Me!")

Down: adopted daughter Moaramia ("Macross M3" game)
