Commentary
The episode that depicts the few hours from midnight to dawn, continuing in a quiet scene that restrains itself from songs and BGM in order to reflect that. In addition, that is connected to the always cheerful and innocent Mylene shows dismayed facial expressions that haven't been seen so far coupled with directing that expresses her uneasy feelings.
In this story arc, Sybil, who has continued in her dormant state over the span of several episodes, finally wakes up. However, is that revival due to the power of Basara's songs? Or is it due to that and the spiritia that Gigiru collected? The story dares to depict it ambiguously. Concerning the results, it still doesn't resolve the worries that Basara has for his songs, and he starts on a journey to search for the true meaning of his singing.
In addition, Basara leaves behind a potted flower and starts his journey in the last scene. This directing is similar to the beginning of "Macross Dynamite 7", which emulates the scene when Basara starts on the journey to planet Zola.

Topics: The Pistol That Gigiru Uses
Many of the main weapons that the Varohta Forces use, including the Erugaazorun, are said to be based on the weapons that were once used by the Unified Forces and improved upon by the Protodevilun with original technology. Although it's uncertain whether the gun that Gigiru used was based on Unified Forces technology or not, its peculiar design gives one the impression of the the Erugaazorun's fuselage, and leaves a strong impression.

Topics: "Power To The Dream"
The new song that became the impetus for Sybil to revive. Fukuyama Yoshiki, in the role of Basara (singing), composed the song without a related song order, and the song was incorporated into the series. The song "Mada Ma Ni Au Sa", which became the origin of "Power To The Dream", was collected on his personal band Humming Bird's album "123" (1996). In addition, one can feel the respect for John Lennon's "Power To The People" from the song title and melody.
