Commentary
In a complete change from bewildering developments, such as the life or death struggle on planet Rax and Gigiru's death, the episode's content is similar to an interlude in regards to the scenario structure, such as putting Basara and the others in the spotlight as they return to the ordinary while looking back on Basara's activities.
Although there isn't a great progress in the story, the various movements of the characters forebode the developments from here on; such as Rei, who attempts to predict the armed forces; Akiko, who is enthusiastic about the many more people that follow Basara's activities; Janet, who was strongly influenced by Basara; Mylene, who urges Gamlin to return to the armed forces; and the words and deeds of Geperunicchi, which suggest a new stratagem.
Also, in Fire Bomber's live performance scenes - the first in a long time -, the appearance of the fans, who accept Basara's acts when he sang in order to awaken the enemy, and Basara, who recollects Gigiru - who sacrificed himself for his love for Sybil -, moves the viewers to shed a trickle of tears.

Topics: Factory Ship Three Star
A unique Factory Ship that produces industrial goods, the Three Star ships have a critical existence in the New Macross Class Fleets, such as Macross 7 and Macross 5, in order to fulfil extensive demands from living-ware to military ordinance. In addition, in the Macross Frontier Fleet, which is equivalent to the next generation New Macross Class ship, the circulation of materials by the within-ship Bio-plant shoulders the roles of the existing Factory and Agriculture Ships.
Topics: The Galactic Pulitzer Prize
With the real world Pulitzer Prize, there are more than 20 categories in the 3 fields of journalism, literature, and music. Even though the news photograph division, which photographs such things as historical moments, is generally famous, there is also the reportage division, where the journalists pursue ordinary people and athletes. The Galactic Pulitzer Prize also appears to be composed of close categories, and Janet, who was struck by the influence of Basara, seems to have burned with desire to win such a category.
