Macross 7
Story

[o] In 2047, about a year after the conflict with the Protodevilun, Basara wanders the galaxy on his own, and stayed at the frontier planet Zola. There, the Poaching Group, which aimed at the Galactic Whales, repeatedly clashed with the Patrol Corps. In the middle of that conflict, Basara met Graham, a man who follows the white whale.

Caption: [o] Basara, who happened to be present at the scene of a Poaching Group theft, was injured, and was helped by the Zolan girl Elma. Her father is Graham, and he and Basara were attracted to the White Whale.

A strong-minded woman, who is a member of planet Zola's Patrol Corps. Even though she boasts one of the best abilities related to flying Valkyries, she harbours dissatisfaction in the Corps's policy of only being able to use nonlethal weapons.

Front

Opening
An opening song that is soulfully sung to raise one's passionate feelings that are regained at the limits of beginning a new journey when one shakes free from daily stagnation. The video is one that projects the appearances of a live performance, which is labelled as "Fire Bomber Final". In addition, all four episodes' openings are somewhat changed with such things as the clips that are inserted into them and the directing of the video. The core of the opening video was used as the video for "Dynamite Explosion Vol.0", which was collected as an extra video in the DVD box set.

"Dynamite Explosion"
Song: Fire Bomber
Song Lyrics: Furuya Toshiyuki / Composition: Fukuyama Yoshiki / Arrangement: On-do

Ending
The ending song is powerfully sung and raises hope for tomorrow. It has clips in the style of a road movie, where Basara travels all over the world while performing music, just as the song title shows -it means such things as "parading" and "marching". The directing of the video, which unites hand-drawn animation with actual picture backgrounds, came to even more strongly enhance the realism of travelling. The variety of majestic nature that flows as the background images are linked with the admiration of nature, which is one of the main themes of the series.

"Parade"
Song: Fire Bomber
Song Lyrics: K. Inojo / Composition: Kawano Miki / Arrangement: On-do
