Story

Commentary The leading characters that the main story is concerned with are all present, and it is a complicated mixture of their respective expectations concerning the Galactic Whales. The mystery of the Galactic Whales is alluded to as the main point of the story, and it turns out that even though they appear to be mere energy bodies, they are actually living things that have their own minds. Although Basara's songs became the key at the time of that clarification, the comparison between Lawrence, who approached the Galactic Whales scientifically for a lengthy number of months and years, and Basara, who came into direct contact with them and intuitively saw through to their true nature, is quite contrastive. Also, from the repeated rehabilitation of Basara from the border between life and death by the hot-spring cure, and the form of Basara singing toward planet Zola's Mother Nature after recovering, it is possible to infer that singing the praise of nature appears to be one of the themes of this series.
In addition, even though it is a sequel, there was concern about Elma and Mylene, who came to audaciously expose their bodies. Elma, who lavishes in the healthy charm of a hot spring, contrasts with Mylene, who is dragged into a fascinating yet scandalous development where she is assaulted by a woman, and it is interesting how the environments that the two are currently placed in are told.

Topics: The Radio On Planet Zola
This series has many scenes that, one way or another, relate to the radio. This is because radio is the main media of planet Zola, and one can infere the cultural level of planet Zola from it. The radio "Zomio And Zuliet" that Elma was listening to while cooking, is a love drama about a man who originates in Macross 11 and a Zolan woman.

Topics: The Non-Lethal Weapons Of The Patrol Corps
It's possible that the Patrol Corps are restricted in the live ammunition that they use from a humanitarian perspective. The Poaching Group, which has seen through this, doesn't even try to take evasive action against Liza's attacks. Although the Shock Gun Pod can temporarily restrain, it doesn't cause considerable damage, and one can nod in agreement at Liza accumulated indignation.

Mylene: "Yea-ee! I'm all fired up! This battle is stupid, listen to my song, and radical fire!"
Basara: "What are you clamouring on about?"
Mylene: "Because... why is it that I have to experience such a thing by myself... yeesh!"
Basara: "What are you crying about?"
Mylene: "What the hell! Who on earth do you think is like that? Yeesh, now you're thinking I'm also like that!"
Basara: "Even though you've said that before, you're still somewhat like a kid. You gotta take care of yourself."
Mylene: "Be quiet! Be quiet! Be quiet! Be quiet!"
Basara: "Why are you sneering?"
Mylene: "Huh?"
