Commentary
It is the time that depicts the swaying feelings of Aruto at the same time as being the introductory part of the planet Gaul 4 volume, which is a midway climax. Although, as far as Aruto is concerned, his regrets toward performance and anxiety toward his father, Ranzou, who is in ill health, seem to be his true feelings; above all else, he has the aspiration to give priority to his "earning for the sky", which he has continued to harbour since he was a child. In addition, Saotome Yasaburou, who appears for the first time in this episode, didn't initially exist in the plot, and is a character that Hiroyuki Yoshino created in the process of writing the script. Also, although Sheryl looks predominant in the contest concerning Aruto's love, the peeks at the disquieting symptoms in her body induce anxiety in the viewer. On the other hand, one feels the feelings of throbbing and tension in the depiction of Ranka, who begins ascending the stairs to stardom, and more and more becomes a real rival of Sheryl hereafter. We would like you to note the somewhat suspicious depiction of Mishima and Grace, who hatch a conspiracy about Gaul 4.

Topics: Zentraadi Units Of The New Unified Forces
There was a mixture of members who had grown accustomed to and familiar with Earth's culture and members who were still repulsed by the culture in the 33rd Marine force Zentraadi unit of Gaul 4, and it's said that the daily quarrels between them didn't stop. Despite being troops under the command of the New Unified Forces, the control of the unit couldn't be removed, and because they were extremely irresponsible toward their professional duties, Kuran still called them "the embarrassment of the Zentraadi." In addition, the unit's armaments are different from the typical ones for the New Unified Forces, and they operated Zentraadi ones.
Topics: Aruto's Mother Miyo
In this episode's reminiscence scene of Aruto as a child, only the back of his mother, Saotome Miyo, is shown. Her face is shown in such TV edition episodes as the 19th, and in the "The False Songstress" movie edition. Miyo, whose body is naturally frail, held the desire of longing for the freedoms of the sky, which spread interminably, and she taught Aruto how to make paper airplanes and shared her dreams about the sky. Even though Miyo died when Aruto was 12 years old, its possible to say that it had a great influence on the development of his personality.
