Commentary
In addition to the gut-wrenching events that happen at the end, such as Michele's death, this was an episode that was composed of many desperate situations; such as Ranka, who falls into despair; Cathy, who mourns Howard's tragic death; and Nanase, who is is seriously injured... The various places that were completely covered by the swarm of Vajra, including the streets of Island 1, were visuals that overflowed with the feeling of catastrophe. Like the only light in that situation, there was Sheryl, who roused herself from the depths of despair that she had been in up until now, and performed the role that regained the hope in the the hearts of the people. Sheryl's scolding, when she slapped Ranka's cheek, is likely to have sympathized with Ranka and be oriented toward herself, as her heart was perplexed by her feelings toward songs. Sheryl comes to achieve a recovery in the opportunity presented in this episode.

Although the VF-27γ has been elusive so far, it's confirmed in this episode that it can be summoned by the pilot Brera's brain wave control. This aircraft was created in the General Galaxy Co. division that's referred to as "Guld Works". Even though there is a difference in the presence or absence of a brain wave transmitting helmet, it becomes clear that the VF-27 has inherited the functions of the same company's YF-21 (pictured), which moved in the exact same way by brain waves.

Michele grieves at the death of the beautiful woman who seemed to be an S.M.S. engineer in the middle of this episode. We fear that it's likely that she might also have had a relationship that had established a considerable emotional bond with Michele. The appearance of Michele, who breaks down crying at a person's death, surprises not only Aruto and the others who were there, but also the viewers. For this reason, Michele, who understood the pain in the heart due to bereavement, avoided immersing himself in specific love. While betraying his true human weakness, the form of Michele himself is extinguished in this episode.
