The Earth Unified Force's extra-large, semi-submersible aircraft carrier. Even though it was originally planned to be operated on the seas, the Prometheus was connected to the SDF-1 Macross's port docking module as an emergency measure, and was used as the VF-1 Valkyrie's operations mothership.

The Unified Force's nuclear-powered stealth aircraft carrier. It wasn't only used as the mothership for the VF-0 combat test operations in the VF-0 Development Project, but also brought about a hard-fought battle with the Anti Unification Alliance over the alien relic "AFOS".

A Unified Force's stealth combat carrier. The Uraga class formed part of the emigrant fleets in the 2040's, such as the Macross 7 Fleet. In addition, the deployment of identical ships has been confirmed in such places as the defensive armada of the Macross Frontier Fleet—voyaging at the end of the 2050's.

A New Unified Forces sniper. She is the biological older sister of Michael Blanc, a member of the private military provider S.M.S. Suspected of intentionally accidentally shooting the aircraft of the superior officer with whom she was having an affair, Jessica committed suicide after being subjected to a military trial.

The captain of the Macross Quarter. He holds the rank of Colonel* and used to be a pilot in the Unified Forces. Almost at the same time that Leon Mishima took full control of the Frontier Fleet, Jeffrey decided to temporarily withdrawal from the fleet. * Translator's note: giving him the (space) air force rank. The equivalent (Spacy) naval rank is Captain.

A very popular diva from the Macross Galaxy Fleet. Sheryl is the granddaughter of Mao Nome, aka Dr. Mao. Also know as the "Galactic Fairy", she holds the great record of having held the number one spot on the Galaxy Chart for 17 consecutive weeks. Sheryl had the misfortune of being attacked by the Vajra during her visit to the Macross Frontier Fleet. In addition, the Galaxy Fleet also went missing, so she decided to stay in the Frontier Fleet.

The "Galactic Fairy" Sheryl's galaxy crossing tour. In addition, the concert in the Macross Frontier Fleet—the final performance of the tour—was forced to stop due to a Vajra attack. As a matter of fact, as the Macross Frontier Fleet had prepared for a Vajra attack, it was the optimum fleet for Grace O'Conner and the Macross Galaxy Fleet leadership to execute their "Operation Carnival" strategy in.

One of the Over Technologies that was discovered in the ASS-1. A similar conversion system was also detected in the "AFOS" alien relic.

A Fold Fault that interferes in the physical dimension. The Vajra Queen has the ability to control these Dimensional Faults. Grace O'Conner—having integrated with the Queen—artificially produced them, and used them for offence and defence in the decisive battle with the Macross Frontier Fleet.

A global environment and ecosystem regeneration project that was implemented by the New Unified Government and the Unified Forces. The global environment—having been destroyed and contaminated in the last stage of the First Interstellar War—was greatly improved by this plan, which made good use of extensive materials and various kinds of OTM.*

The emigrant residential section of "Macross 7", the No.7 New Macross class Emigrant Ship. It is equipped with a dome-shaped defensive shell that can open and close. The mayor is Maria Farīna Jīnasu. The Stealth Attack Carrier Battle 7—the combat section—connects through the intermediary of the City 7's energy plant.

The City 7 police organization. They have a special assault team with snipers and the "Patroid" Special Variable Mecha. The City Police are in charge of maintaining public order during peacetime.

A Protodevilun whose vessel is a living-weapon Ehvil that looks like a girl. Its code name on the Macross 7 side is G3. Inspired by the songs of Basara Nekki, Sybil assisted Basara in the decisive battle between the Macross 7 Fleet and the Protodevilun in trying to stop Geperunicchi's rampage.

The business district within Island 1, which one could say is the main island of the Macross Frontier Fleet. In addition to tenant buildings such as 199 in the central part of of the district—which used Japan's Shibuya as its motif—there is the Chinese Restaurant "Nyan-Nyan". The underground shopping centre consists of Deep Akihabara (Deep Akiba).

The earliest Destroid in the Unified Forces. It is treated as one of the experimental models of the ADR-04. The Destroid has features that are midway between the Tomahawk and the Defender.

A Destroid in the New Unified Forces. Even though it is a redesign of the Cheyenne and took over the Cheyenne's outward appearance roughly unchanged, parts were changed—including such things as exchanging the engine for a thermonuclear reactor and modernizing the armaments.* They were deployed in combat within the Islands of the Macross Frontier Fleet, and for fleet air defence.

A bridge operator on a battle carrier. Together with her twin Fine, she served as an operator on the carrier where a Fire Bomber performed live.

The first movie starring Lynn Minmei. The release of the film, which was produced only on board the Macross, was a major event for the citizens of the Macross after they left the Earth. In addition, the film became the decisive factor in the decision to make the all-out-attack on the Earth when Supreme Commander Bodoruzā of the Zentrādi Forces—which had intercepted the broadcast of the film—assumed that the supernatural powers produced by special effects were the "legendary powers of the Protoculture".

The theme song of the movie "Little White Dragon", sung by Lynn Minmei. The song was introduced during the on-stage speech by the director and cast on the opening day of the film, and it became a hit just like the film did.

The signature reporter for "Galaxy Sports", which is famous for its gossip articles. She is also the younger sister of Michael, who is Mayor Miria's secretary and bodyguard. Janet later left the company to become a writer who tells the truth and chose to become a freelance journalist.

One of the female officers who serves as a bridge operator on the Macross, and is mainly in charge of shipboard traffic control. She is the youngest of the "three bridge girls", and her behaviour remains childish, such as acting like a civilian. After retiring from the military, Shammy married the only son of a zaibatsu, and seems to have lived a life blessed with many children.

One of the Macross bridge operators. She was good friends with Vanessa Laird and Kim Kabirov, and often did things together with them even in their personal time.

A famous Hollywood actress. She was invited as a guest to the SDF-1 Macross Space Launch Ceremony, but was engulfed in the space fold and forced to live inside the Macross. When Jamisu entered the Miss Macross Contest, she was considered to be the front-runner, but lost to Lynn Minmei in the final round. Incidentally, her granddaughter Miranda Merin is active as an actress in the Macross Frontier Fleet.

A Space-time Resonance System developed by Manfret Brando, president of the Critical Path Corporation. It is an electronic jamming device developed based on a state-of-the-art transmitter that uses hyperspace resonance crystals. It directly interferes with computers by causing a space-time resonance. When used, it plays a unique music and neutralizes guided weapons. (Source: Macross VF-X2)

A Musical Combat Unit formed as an anti-Protodevilun fighting force. After being formed via test case Basara Nekki in the Macross 7 Fleet's top-secret Unified Forces' Project M, the first six members were selected in an audition. Unlike Sound Force, the Jamming Birds concentrate on singing without piloting their VFs when they sortie in the two-seater VF-11D Kai. In the Protodevilun War, the Jamming Birds did not achieve any significant results due to their weak Song Energy.

A virtual idol singer created with the "Sharon-type AI" developed and manufactured by Venus Sound Factory—an organization affiliated with the Macross Concern—that made full use of the Concern's computer technology. In the blink of an eye after her debut in 2039, Sharon became the No.1 ranked idol singer in the galaxy. In 2040, she formed a sense of self and went berserk, taking over the central functions of the Unified Forces in Macross City. It caused a major incident later known as the "Sharon Apple Insident".*

The Sharon Apple concert tour held performances throughout the galaxy. The performance on the Emigrant Planet Eden in the Groombridge Star System became the last performance in the tour.*

The Zentrādi Forces two-seater medium-sized Highly-manoeuvrable Heavy Attack Craft. It was operated as one of the Zentrādi's main space weapons.

They are used as the main guns of the SDF-1 Macross, Noputi Baganisu class and so on, as well as in the Heavy Quantum Reaction Cannons of the Battle 7, the Battle Frontier, and the Macross Quarter. In the late 2050's, the VF-27, VF-171EX and other Valkyries were also equipped with Heavy Quantum Beam-specification weapons as standard equipment.

A special weapon of the Zentrādi Forces that interferes with and disables gravity control systems. Gravity Mines were buried underground at the Sara Base on Mars by Kamujin Kuravushera's troops, and they prevented the Macross from moving when it stopped at that base.

One of the Over Technologies that the Macross was equipped with. Not only could it levitate the gigantic ship with an operational inertial weight of 18 million tons, the system could also control the gravitational environment within the ship. The system was lost during the first launch of the Macross, however it later became possible to produce an equivalent system.
