Macross 7, which survived the Varohta Campaign while making many sacrifices, continued to voyage in search of a livable planet, because Planet Rax had collapsed, and the 4th Planet Of The Varohta Star System wasn't suitable for residence. However, immediately after the Varohta Campaign in 2047, the fleet appears to have given priority to repairing the Battle 7 and the auxiliary vessels, which were damaged.

Caption: As the Battle 7 was shot down in the final decisive battle, its repair advanced on the bow of City 7.

Caption: As it appears that there was only a small amount of damage to the inside of the City Spaceships, such as City 7, there seems to not have been any problems in the lives of the citizens.

Related Matter: The Evolution To A Self Spiritia Regenerating Species
The Protodevilun are different from a lot of living things -including Earth's mankind and the Zentraadi-, and they couldn't produce Spiritia by themselves. They evolved into a self Spiritia regenerating species through jam sessions with Basara. Even though its uncertain as far as Gabiru and Gurabiru are concerned, at least Geperunicchi and Sybil became able to produce Spiritia by themselves.

Caption: By singing with Basara, Geperunicchi awoke as a self Spiritia regenerating species. His body became My-clone sized.
