Related Matter: The Reaction Of The Zentraadi Forces
The Zentraadi Forces, who had intercepted the broadcasts of MBS, which the Miss Macross Contest heralded the start of, sent a surveillance craft to try and get the details of those broadcasts. Although the surveillance craft intercepted the video of the contest, they were shot down by Ichijo Hikaru's Armoured Valkyrie, which had gone out to intercept them, and the Zentraadi failed to bring their recordings back to home base. However, the soldiers who returned alive were powerfully imprinted with the shock from their time on the mission.

Left: The three Zentraadi of "Blue Wind" The code name "Blue Wind" was assigned to the soldiers of the 8th Reconnaissance In-Force Scouting Party 099, who had received the reconnaissance mission. Those three soldiers later infiltrated into the Macross as spies.

Related Matter: The Miss Macross Contest In Later Years
The Miss Macross Contest that was held in the SDF-1 Macross, was an event that contained a political implication. However, as a result of the emphasis on the achievements that Lynn Minmei sent out to the world, the contests in later years that inherited the Miss Macross Contest name became commercial events that also served to discover beauty contestants and stars. Taking the contest that was held in the Frontier Fleet as an example, it was an established custom for the victor and the contestants who were bathed in attention to have the way into the world of show business opened to them.*

* Translator's note: originally: "Taking the Miss Macross F Contest that was held in the Frontier Fleet as an example,".

Right: [F] Ranka Lee
Ranka Lee was one of the final selection participants of the 12th Miss Macross Frontier Contest, and in the fourth judging, she sang Minmei's "My Boyfriend's A Pilot".* Although she missed the grand prix, she began heading aimed toward the opportunity of being a singer due to the contest, and before long, she grew into the Super Dimensional Cinderella, who played a major role in the fight with the Vajra.

* Translator's note: originally was, "Ranka Lee was one of the final selection participants of the 12th Miss Macross F Contest,".
