Related Matter: The Protoculture
The Zentraadi are told that the "Protoculture", which Bodoruza has fear of, are the distant ancestors of the Zentraadi. Also, according to fragmentary records that are told only to the Main Fleet Commander Class like Bodoruza, the Protoculture had features that resembled Earth's mankind (My-clone sized bodies and the coexistence of men and women). At the same time, because there are legends that have been left behind that tell of the loss of the power to fight and the eventual ruin of fleets that contact the Protoculture, the Protoculture have become an existence that must be avoided by the Zentraadi. After this interrogation, Bodoruza also strengthened his doubts that Earth's mankind is the Protoculture, and before long, he shifted to an uncompromising stance toward mankind.

Caption: The overreaction to Hikaru and Misa's kiss is thought to have been the manifestation of latent fear toward the Protoculture.

Caption: "Culture", which was feared as the power of the Protoculture, consequentially came to put an end to the conflict with the Bodoru Main Fleet.
