First Airman Lead Private Maria Fariina snuck into the Macross to ferret out the enemy pilot that shot her down in battle. However, after meeting her bitter enemy Maximilian Jiinasu, she ended up marrying him! This wedding between interstellar civilizations came to have a big influence on the relationship of the Earth and the Zentraadi.

Culture's spread to the Zentraadi developed into the Zentraadi soldiers' refusal to fight and their defections. Also, there was the influence of Miria's wedding and the movie "Little White Dragon", and that led to Earth area commander Buritai's decision to make a ceasefire with the Macross. However, Bodoruza was struck by the influence of that, and concluded that the front line troops were "polluted" with culture, and came forth to eliminate the Earth, and Buritai and the others.

Caption: Buritai decided to make a ceasefire, and had Zemu First Class Records Staff Officer Exsedor Forumo change into a My-clone and dispatched him to the Macross.

Right: Buritai Kuridaniku
He is the Zentraadi fleet commander who was struck by the influence of culture and the soldiers' refusal to fight, and advanced peace with the Macross.

He is the captain of the Macross, who fully realized the difference in each side's combat capabilities, and promoted a ceasefire and peace with the Zentraadi fleet.
