This project's competition took place at the planet Eden New Edwards Base (New Edwards Test Flight Centre). The later development of the YF-24 was also carried out here.

Caption: A huge building with the operation room and control tower is set up in the center of the base, and it was also in charge of such things as data collection and observation during the tests.

Caption: The base was an extremely vast one, where the test airspace could support the full manoeuvrability of a VF.

Caption: Town areas for simulation battles were also constructed for tests that mainly involved the Battroid Form.

Related Matter: The AVF Test Pilots
A great number of test pilots participated in "Project Super Nova"; among them, Isamu Dyson and Guld Goa Bowman won fame from their skill. Although Isamu was a problem child, he perfectly handled the YF-19 -which had produced several injuries and deaths-, as tip-top as a VF pilot. On the other hand, Guld was a civilian that belonged to the General Galaxy Co., participated in the development of the YF-21, and was one of the few people who could control it with brainwaves.
