Sharon held a concert during the memorial ceremony for the 30th Anniversary of the Conclusion of the Interstellar War, in Macross City on Earth. Due to her artificial intelligence running wild, she took over the main computers of the Macross and placed the whole area of the city under her control. This rebellion was referred to as the "Sharon Apple Insident*". The sale of her music was prohibited for a while after the incident as punishment.

Caption: The ceremony's audience was but into a state of trance by Sharon, who had seized the information network of the Macross; some, who had had their senses manipulated, also appeared.

Caption: Sharon also directed the control of the completed X-9 Ghost unmanned fighter craft, and generated dogfights between YF-19 as well as the YF-21 with it.
