Because Fold Quartz was an innovative resource like that, as far as the human race is concerned, it became the cause that induced conflict between members of the human race who aimed at monopolizing it.

Related Matter: The V-Type Infectious Disease
The disease caused by the V-type virus inside the body of the Vajra. The V-type virus is considered to be one of the primary reasons for the Vajra to generate Fold Waves. Sheryl Nome and Ranka Lee are carriers of the V-type virus, and despite being able to send out Fold Waves in their songs, they couldn't mutually understand intent with the Vajra.
