Macross 7 Fleet
The group of large ships that have the combined functions that support emigrants on the scale of one million people.

Hull Description:
The Macross 7 fleet, which sailed from Earth in 2038, is an emigration fleet formed from advanced and improved overall living conditions for what is assumed to be a long-term space voyage. Six large-scale ships, which specialize in production, research, amusement, and so on, accompany the fleet and form the core of it, to support the life of the immigrants, said to number on the one million scale. They are an Ocean And Resort Ship, a Factory Ship, a Farm Ship, an Amusement Ship, and a Unified Forces Training Ship; each enormous and said to be 3,500 to 6,300 m in length - their size being comparable to City 7; which is the central residential area of the fleet. In addition, each of the six ships has a characteristic function, and they are assumed to not depart to the front lines, as their combat efficiency is equal to nonexistent. Therefore, not only are they located in the innermost part of the fleet, each ship has a stealth escort battle carrier in the prow or front hull, or an escort frigate docked to the ship, which guard the ship.

Caption: The six ships and the Macross 7 are located in the safety of the inner part of the fleet. Each ship is connected by transport links in space called the Milky Way, and it is possible to come and go easily between them.

Ocean And Resort Ship Riviera
A large-scale ship that has the unique appearance of a spiral shell, and is filled to the brim with an artificial ocean that reaches 3,600 m in diameter in the center part. In addition to the cultivation and breeding of fresh marine creatures to supplying the emigrant fleet in the artificial ocean, it is called a "resort ship" because part of the ocean facility is open as high-class leisure facilities. In one part of the more than 10 km unbroken beach, the upmarket resort "Riviera" extends crowded with swimmers, and is lined with hotels, casinos, villas and so on. Incidentally, the female operators of the Armed Forces who are assigned to the ship, are also said to be beautiful, due to the "resort" character of the ship.

Caption: The upper surface of the dome is covered in a transparent dome. A countless number of searchlights project from it, and the hue of the resort facilities are strong in the exterior of the ship.

Caption: The escort battle carrier CV404 Uraga is docked in the ship's bow. The port next to the docking bay is a star port called "Hoshi no Minato" [Star Port].

Caption: The protuberance on the underside of the ship's hull is a high-pressure tower that's for the research of deep sea creatures; it stabilizes the ocean when the ship accelerates, controls the current, and controls the water temperature, water pressure, and so on.

Factory Ship Three Star
A large-scale factory ship that combines various industrial complexes around a large-scale reactor, a factory group, and an apartment-housing complex block for the factory staff. From the beginning, its reactor, manufacturing block, tank, propulsion system, and so on have been bared, as the ship was planned to be persistently utilized; and its external appearance has become more and more disordered with frequent restructuring and additions. It is the ship that produces the various products that the emigration fleet needs, and it refines the resources collected from cosmic dust, planetoids and so on, as well as star systems in the vicinity of the fleet's route through space. The ship has the ability to produce from small things, like miscellaneous daily goods, to big things, like variable fighters and space battleships.

Caption: The core of the hull is a large, unique, reaction furnace in the central top part, and an extra-large tank in the lower part, with facilities around them. The ship also has the characteristic appearance of a fortress.

Caption: An escort frigate adjoins the ship and stands by on the prow of the factory ship. The port on the right side, when facing the ship, is a large entrance for bringing in materials, and on the left side is a large exit for taking out finished products.

Caption: Despite being only several millimetres thick, a 15 km long heat radiation film is towed from the rear of the ship to dispose of the heat that the enhanced reactor expels when operating.
