Meltrandi Warships
The Warship Group Of The Giant Women, Who Boasted Of An Outstanding Degree Of Coordination

Caption: Compared to the form of the Zentrādi ships, which heavily use curved lines, the Meltrandi ships have acute angled forms.

Down: Large Battleship
It's the biggest warship even in the Meltrandi Forces, and its length even extends to 5,000 m. It features a bow that stretches slenderly.

Left: Standard Battleship
The most standard type in the Meltrandi ships, and it is considered to have been the ship that was most numerously put onto the battlefield. A Guided [Beam] Gun is installed in the lower part of the hull.

Up: Picket Ship
As a ship used for reconnaissance and searching for the enemy, its size is small and about 500 m.

Up: Large Frigate
It's slightly smaller than the Standard Battleship, and is the type that performs such things as flagship defence. The hull has a structure where it is separated into 4 units.

Hull Description:
The Meltrandi female-form Bionoids were created by genetic manipulation. By using an artificial living body, optical nerves, a composite skeleton, and laser optics in their energy regeneration, they acquired great movement abilities and physical strength. Technology similar to what was used to form their flesh was included even in the warships of the Meltrandi Forces, and they were controlled together with the other armaments by a Holographic Information Network. Due to that, the Meltrandi were able to precisely coordinate their fleet to the utmost limits, and they greatly tormented the Zentrādi Forces in the First Interstellar War.

Caption: Even though the basic structure is the same in each ship, their shapes and sizes are different according to their role, and various ships were invested into the anti- Zentrādi battles.

Operation Record
In 2009, while the the Meltrandi Forces had an eye on the capture of the City Ship Arutira, which was the remains of the Protoculture, they also opened up a battle the Zentrādi Forces, who they had opposed for a long time. The group of diverse military vessels of the Rapuramizu Fleet, which engaged the Goru Bodoruzā Fleet, shouldered the defence of the Moruku Rapuramizu Flagship.* However, the ships attached to the Rapuramizu Fleet received a direct hit from the Goru Bodoruzā "Gorugu Gantsu Gun" Main Gun, and were annihilated, along with the Moruku Rapuramizu.

Picket Ship
As a warship suitable for reconnaissance, it is effective at tight turns. It often fell into disadvantageous situations in fleet battles, because it is powerless and small. The narrow form of its width closely resembles the Standard Battleship.

Related Matter: Long-Range Medium Gunship
A derivative ship, which has a long-range gun installed on a Meltrandi Medium Gunship. One of the ships is presumed to have been abandoned in Earth orbit, because it was seriously damaged by the attacks of the Zentrādi Forces.* It descended to the Earth, and became the base of the SDF-1 Macross.

Up: It is equipped with a Long-Range Guided Focusing Beam Gun in the bow, and supplementary guns and defensive firearms in various places on the approximately 1,500 m long hull.

Down: SDF-1 Macross
The human race recovered the wreckage of the OT (Over-Technology) loaded Medium Gunship, analyzed the technology, and built the SDF-1 Macross.

Standard Battleship
It has a characteristic form like a plank with a narrow width. In addition to being furnished with a Guided [Beam] Gun for anti-ship combat in the lower part of the hull, antenna are installed in various places, such as on the bow, the top part of the central hull, and behind the Guided [Beam] Gun.

Caption: In the battle in Earth's orbit that was conducted with the Goru Bodoruzā Fleet, many uniform [Standard Battleship] warships were used as the main force of the Rapuramizu Fleet.

Large Battleship
Contrastively to the Standard Battleship, which arranged its thrusters on the top and bottom, it is a large warship that arranged its thrusters on the left and right, and took on a spacious width. One can grasp that it is furnished with a bridge on the top of the hull.

Large Frigate
It is the type with 2 large thrusters installed on the left and right, as well as a thruster and a Guided [Beam] Gun-like large gun in the lower part. It has a characteristic unique "T" shape when seen from the front.

High-Speed Cruiser / Assault Landing Ship
As the type that is furnished with a large hangar in the rear, the High-Speed Cruiser's length is a little bit smaller than the Large Frigate, at about 2,500 m. The Assault Landing Ship is the warship that shoulders assaults and landing operations on enemy bases. It's length is about 4,000 m, and it boasts of a size that ranks next to that of the Large Battleship.
