Front [Pg 01-02]

* Translator's note: changes on the illustration: VA-1SS slightly enlarged and darker overall, significantly less engine thrust (effectively, the part that was obscuring the aircraft was removed), and background plaint blob changed and darkened.

Related Matter: The Proto-Metal Siren
Lieutenant Silvie Geena served as the pilot of the prototype. It didn't have armaments, and a rear seat was added to it.

Caption: Even though the Proto-Metal Siren sustained the attack of a Marduk Forces reconnaissance unit during the demonstration flight, it survived without problems due to being rescued by Nex and others.

Left: The silhouette is the same as the Metal Siren. It isn't equipped with the Plasma Spear, and it seems that the armaments were also dummies.

Left: Although it is a single-seater, a rear seat was added to it in the Moon Festival.

Left/Up: It's thought that the basic specifications conformed to the officially adopted aircraft, and the Proto-Metal Siren demonstrated great manoeuvrability.
