YF-30 Chronos
The unknown numbered state-of-the-art aircraft that is crowned with the name of the god of time.

Airframe Explanation:
The YF-30 Chronos is a Variable Fighter that the staff of the planet Ouroboros Branch of the Civilian Military Provider S.M.S. individually developed. Although the blueprints of the YF-24 Evolution, which were disclosed by the New Unified Forces Headquarters, was the base for the basic design at the beginning, the Variable Mechanism was greatly changed due to reforming the operational objectives during development, and it became a completely different aircraft. Aisha Blanchett, who is also a talented engineer, took charge of the design and development as the head of the S.M.S. Ouroboros Branch. The greatest feature of the YF-30 is turning the large capacity "Multipurpose Container Unit" into standard equipment - into which equipment that corresponds to the mission can be loaded within the aircraft.

Operation Record
The YF-30 development project, nicknamed the "YF-30 Project", advanced on the planet Ouroboros, and is considered to have completed a flight and transformation capable aircraft in around 2060. The specially made aircraft control AI that was installed in the YF-25 Prophecy was appropriated for the YF-30's control AI. In addition, Leon Sakaki is the pilot who transported the YF-25 from the S.M.S. Sephira Branch* to deliver the control AI. As it became impossible for Leon to return to base for a short while due to an increase in the activity of the Fold Faults that cover the planet, he came to work at the Ouroboros Branch, and collaborated in the YF-30 tests (it's said that it was a godsend, as far as Aisha was concerned, as the original test pilot was seriously injured by an accident during testing). Also, as a result of placing importance on the engine power performance in the course of the operational testing by Leon, it's said that the durability problems that arose were detected, and the design around the engines was reviewed.

Caption: At the time of this aircraft's development, in addition to existing technology, it's said that parts collected from the Protoculture Ruins on the planet, and the protective weapons that guard the ruins, were also inserted into the YF-30.

Related Matter: Planet Ouroboros
Although the planet Ouroboros was discovered in 2030, the internal discord on the planet couldn't be resisted, and it is assumed that the development of the planet hadn't particularly advanced even in 2060. It's said that the YF-30's development took place on Ouroboros as it was suited for retaining the airtightness of such a situation.

Fighter Mode
The YF-30 Fighter Form uses clipped delta wings, the same as the YF-24, which was the origin of its design. Although it is an extremely orthodox form, its performance was preeminent even among the VFs from the same period, as it used highly precise and rigid parts, which were manufactured at the Automated Factory Satellite at planet Ouroboros. EX-Gear is installed in the cockpit, the same as the VF-25, and the pilot is protected during high-manoeuvrability.

Up: The front of the aircraft is equipped with canards to stabilize the control of the aircraft to match the changes in the centre of gravity and the aerodynamic center, when things are loaded in the Multipurpose Container or when the container is ejected.

GERWALK Mode
While the arm parts, which are laid out under the main wings on the left and right, move forward when transforming to GERWALK, the parts in the vicinity of the canards fold up and form the "shoulders". At the same time, the engine parts also unfold forwards, and become the legs. The "Multipurpose Container Unit" that is laid out in the rear of the aircraft can be used even in GERWALK form.

Caption: The YF-30 firing the missiles in the Multipurpose Container Unit in GERWALK form. It's said that it was prized when invading the enemy power's positions from low altitude at high-speed.

Battroid Mode
In Battroid form, the Multipurpose Container Unit can be unfolded horizontally near the back of the head. The Multipurpose Container Unit isn't only for micro-missiles. It features the ability to be loaded with units that have various functions, such as Auxiliary Propulsion Mechanisms, and Electronic Warfare Systems.

Up: The designer Aisha Blanchett has immense confidence in the Container Unit, and is said to have boasted that this unit will be a standard installation in VFs in the future.

The Other Aircraft Operated On Planet Ouroboros

YF-25 (Leon's Aircraft)
The aircraft that Leon Sakaki transported from the S.M.S. Sephira Branch. It is the prototype of the VF-25. Leon was shot down due to an attack by a hostile power before arriving at the Ouroboros Branch. After that, the aircraft was repaired and operated.

VF-19 (Aisha's Aircraft)
The mass-production VF-19 that Aisha uses is coloured pink. On Ouroboros, where there are many undeveloped regions, ordinary citizens have also been using VFs as transportation (they are also measures to defend oneself form the outlaws, who are called bandits).

VF-11 (Miina's Aircraft)
The aircraft that Aisha prepared as the aircraft boarded by the girl Mina Forte, who was protected by the S.M.S. Ouroboros Branch. A tuning that values controllability has been applied to it, because Miina hasn't gotten used to riding a VF.

VF-27 (Lilong's Aircraft)
The aircraft boarded by Mei Lilong, who works as a representative of the Hunter Guild in Buritai City on planet Ouroboros. The VF-27 can only be controlled by cyborgs, and it's unclear why she owns a custom VF-27γ.

YF-29B Percival (Rod's Aircraft)
The aircraft boarded by Rod Baltemar, who is attached to the New Unified Forces Havamal Special Forces. It is a state-of-the-art aircraft that improves upon the YF-29 Durendal, and has been deployed to the Havamal ace pilots.

YF-29 (Isamu's Aircraft)
Sharon Apple was transferred to planet Ouroboros, which crosses over between space-times. This is Isamu Dyson's aircraft - who was similarly transferred to the planet. The head has been exchanged for one with a shape that resembles the head of the VF-19.

YF-29 (Ozuma's Aircraft)
The aircraft that Ozuma Lee embarks in - he manifested on planet Ouroboros, which crosses over between space-times. The head resembles the VF-25S, and is equipped with four Laser Machine-guns.

VF-172EX (Ganesu's Aircraft)
The aircraft boarded by the "bandit" Ganesu Modolar, who raises havoc on planet Ouroboros. Although it is even equipped with the Anti Vajra Standard Armaments, it's unknown where it has been supplied from.

Related Matter: The Special Markings On The Valkyries
On the plant Ouroboros, where VFs are cheerfully used at the same level as passenger vehicles, various VFs come and go, from New Unified Forces disposal aircraft, to replica aircraft -which have had repaired exteriors (it's said that there was a replica of the VF-0, too); on top of that, there are state-of-the-art aircraft with unknown origins. Illustrations were applied to the fuselage among such Valkyries, and they were seen as the so-called "Itasha Valkyries".

Up: From the left, the "YF-29, VF-1, and VF-25" 'Itasha Valkyries'. It's said that the Ouroboros branch office personnel operated them.
