Caption: The picture on the right exemplifies the moment when the protector is purged. When its functions deteriorate due to such things as running out of bullets or by being hit, it can be purged by operating a lever on the left hand side of the cockpit.* Also, as wires indvidually connected to each part, it's also possible to only purge specific parts.

* Translator's note: originally was: "~ being shot, it can be purged by operating a left hand lever."

Related Matter: Evolution Of The Armoured Pack
Armoured Packs, represented by the GBP-1S, continue evolving together with the development of the VFs, and they are generalized as additional equipment of the main aircraft. And the problem in their lack of all-purposefulness because of the improvements in firepower and bullet-resistance also came to be resolved by the apperance of Armoured Packs that correspond to the transformation mechanism.

Right: VF-25S
A VF-25S equipped with the APS-25A/MF25 has the nickname "Armoured Messiah". It is able to transform while equipped with the armour pack.
