Related Matter: The Variations Of The Spartan *
The picture on the right is the MBR-07-MkI that was rolled out in January, 2008. The center of the body is equipped with an internal Gun Cluster. A few were produced, and all those Destroids were later remodelled into the MkII Spartan. Also, after the First Interstellar War, the Spartan, which was retired from military service, was sold to civilians, and a privately owned Spartan was also confirmed in the Macross 7 Fleet.**

*Translator's note: originally was "MBR-07-MkI".
**Translator's note: originally was "The prototype Spartan that was rolled out in January, 2008. All of the MkI were later remodelled into the MkII".

[o] Caption: [7] A Spartan was observed in the "Battroid Carnival" that was held in City 7 in around 2045. It's thought to have been improved for work, and both arms have become excavation drills. *

*Translator's note: originally was "A remodelled Spartan was confirmed in the "Battroid Carnival" that was held within City 7 in around 2045. This Destroid is considered to have been privately owned by a citizen.".
