Airframe Explanation
The Vajra, which mankind first encountered in 2040, are an unknown life-form that has the rare mineral "Fold Quartz" inside the body of each individual, and performs communication between the individuals and Bio-Fold Navigation with the fold waves that are emitted by this mineral. They are also referred to as a "Super-Dimensional Life-Form", from the abilities from a high-order of space that originate in Fold Quartz. The entire swarm of Vajra are controlled by a Vajra Queen, who is the highest ranking individual, through the fold network. Also, the Vajra Semi-Queen, who is the individual that ranks next to the Queen, sections the nest from the queen, and leads a "Space Battle Group" that consists of several hundred thousand individuals, and wanders space.

Operation Record
In 2059, the Frontier Fleet experienced several engagements with the Vajra. Eventually, even though the Galaxy Fleet leaders, who had concealed themselves in the Frontier Fleet, tried to control the Vajra with implant technology, their plan was frustrated by the efforts of S.M.S. and the two songstresses Ranka Lee and Sheryl Nome; and mankind reached an accommodation with the Vajra.

Heavy Mobile Soldier Vajra
They are comparatively few and they operate like a commander of a Vajra unit (even though the stairs of the chain of command don't exist in the Vajra as all individuals have a common consciousness), and they might also perform special duties, such as independent reconnaissance. They exist in the several hundreds per Space Battle Group, which a single Vajra Queen plays a central role in. Even though they are a fairly large individual, they have extremely high manoeuvrability within the atmosphere because of their wings. Bio-micro-missiles that have pursuit abilities are generated within their bodies, and they can launch a maximum of 10 missiles to the front and rear. They can also move long distances with Bio-Fold Navigation.

Around the head, it has a small armoured horn and a countless number of touch receptors. Its several eyes shine orange.

Up: Chest
At the time of the Frontier Fleet's second Vajra engagement, one Heavy Mobile Soldier Vajra stored Ranka Lee in its chest, and started to return to its nest. Although the original functions of this organ are unknown, its guessed that it could be a pouch that protects such things as the Vajra larvae.

Heavy Soldier Vajra
They are an individual that exists from the thousands to tens of thousands in the group, and they have a high manoeuvrability that doesn't correspond to their stature. Their body is covered in a tough Bio-Energy Conversion Armour. The armoured horn is a Heavy Bio-Beam Gun, that rapid-fires beams equal to the main guns of the Space Cruiser. They generate Bio-micro-missiles, which have an automatic pursuit function, within their bodies, and they can fire a maximum amount of 20 missiles. Its Bio-Fold Navigation is limited to short ranges.

Mobile Soldier Vajra
They are the most numerous in number of individuals in the combat Vajra, and they are presumed to be a midway form on the way to the incremental metamorphosis to the Heavy Soldier Vajra. Their long tail is a highly-efficient Bio-Gravitational Field Propeller, and they have manoeuvrability that rivals that of the VF-25. Even though they don't have wings, they have great flight abilities even in the atmosphere; moreover, they move at high-speed on the ground with their long legs. They rapid-fire pulse beams from the crystalline structure tissue on the top of their body. Their Bio-Fold Navigation is limited to short ranges.

Super-Heavy Soldier Vajra
As a heavy combat Vajra for guarding the area of the Vajra nest, they possess a Bio-Energy Armour strength that's much greater than that of the Heavy Soldier Vajra, and a Heavy Bio-Beam Gun turret with Space Cruiser main-gun class energy on their back. They exist in the several hundreds in a Space Battle Group. Even though their outward appearance is stolid, they nimbly walk on their 6 legs, and they spread their wings and soar in the atmosphere.
