Related Matter: Queen Vajra
The original queens are gigantic Vajra that reach tens to hundreds of km in length, and live inside the Vajra nests. The majority of their body exists underground, and they take in the energy of the planet's crust. The queen seldom personally moves, and its assumed that they only move when they divide the nest. Even though the queens excel in fold and space distortion abilities, they have few direct combat abilities.
The nest has a strong energy conversion armour with a composite honeycomb structure, and on top of that it is a solid fortress that is also able to convert fold barriers. Also, Fold Quartz is systematically buried in the structure of the nest, and they amplify fold waves, function as a filter, and support the Fold Network between the queen and the other Vajra.

Caption: An enormous Vajra nest. There is a theory that the Protoculture used the nests as a reference for the large Zentraadi Fortresses.
