Operation Record
The design of the Macross Quarter that S.M.S. ordered was carried out at Hashuu Heavy Industry Vessel Technical Research Institute and Shinsei Industry Vessel Design Headquarters on planet Eden. The actual construction of the warship, which was scheduled to have a deployment location comparatively near the Earth, was carried out at the planet Eden Factory Satellite group. In Emigration Fleets or Emigrant Planets that are far, far distant from the Earth, the ships were manufactured at the locale based on blueprints that were sent to them. Even though the basic design of the Macross Quarter series is the same, they have differences in the details, such as where they are deployed, armaments and rigging according to their service, and the ship-borne craft that they are loaded with. Although the standard paint colours are an endo and exo-atmospheric use standard camouflage that's based on grey and white, there are variations, such as the ships who's main missions are deployments on the ground on Emigrant Planets being painted in a desert yellow camouflage. The Macross Quarter deployed to the Frontier Fleet was built within the Frontier Fleet. Construction began in December, 2055*, and the space launch of the center hull was in June, 2056.* Afterwards, the ship was fitted-out, the docking work of the ARMD-L, ARMD-R, BASTER-R, and BASTER-L was carried out, and the practical operation trials started from March, 2057.* The maintenance dock of the Macross Quarter is an S.M.S. dedicated wharf that was created in the vicinity of the center of the port side of Island 1.

Related Matter: Separate And Combined
The Macross Quarter is composed from 5 blocks: the center block, both arm blocks, and both leg blocks, and has independent energy systems for emergencies, life support systems, and so on, in each block. When one block is damaged, it is considered to not affect the other blocks. Also, the Macross Quarter is able to to be quickly repaired and re-sortie by exchanging each block.

Caption: The units on both arms and the back and the original 5 blocks can each act independently.

Related Matter: Macross Quarter Variations
The Macross Quarter was also installed in other S.M.S. fleets. Although the armaments and equipment differed according to the fleet, there are no differences in the basic composition of the ships. A lot of identical warships are confirmed even in the S.M.S. reinforcement force, which arrived at the battle of the Vajra Home-world.
