Related Matter: The Residential Functions of the Zentraadi Ships
Many of the Zentraadi ships seem to have vast residential spaces, because the basic life of the Zentraadi is within the ships, as they don't have a base planet. The large main fleet flagships, which are referred to as Mobile Fortresses, in particular have residential functions as well as recuperative facilities (although it's unconfirmed, it's been said that planet sized Mobile Fortresses also exist).

The super gigantic ships that reach total heights of 890 km. With functions as the flagship of Zentraadi main fleets, they also function as the harbour for the fleet under the flagship's command.

Caption: Such things as toilets are installed within the ships, as although the Zentraadi are gigantic, they are also humanoid.

Extra Report: The Ships that are the Same Model as the Macross Ships
A lot of cases are seen where even the same model of Macross ships have differing specifications, due to the circumstances of the construction period, construction process, their use and their fleet. This is obvious in the differences in each ship in the SDFN series, due to their equipment which was appropriated from such things as scrapped medium Zentraadi ships, and the New Macross Class, which went forward with the enlargement of the battle and residential sections.
