Fire Bomber carries out a live performance in the Three Star. They protect Rex from the Varohta Forces' attack.

Mylene agrees to a formal marriage interview with Gamlin. Although the formal marriage interview is annulled because of Gamlin's injuries, Mylene comes to visit Gamlin in the hospital.

2045:
Fire Bomber carries out a live performance in the Riviera.
Basara and Mylene are shut up in a closed compartment; nevertheless, they narrowly succeed in escaping from it.

Related Matter: The Female Bosozoku "Team Rex"
The Macross 7 Fleet is composed of a countless number of Emigrant Ships centred on City 7, and each ship is connected by a network called the Milky Road. The women-only Bosozoku "Team Rex" perform acts of reckless driving on this Milky Road. The women, who have guts and a riding technique that put men to shame, ride around on specially made bikes that can also move in outer space; and they don't only run around the Milky Road, but also freely run around within City 7 and the Emigrant Ships.

Caption: Even though the Milky Road establishes traffic lanes, [Team] Rex often unmindfully ran their bikes in the opposite direction.

Caption: The leader, Rex, is a 19-year-old that originates from Earth. Why she made a bosozoku team appears to be a mystery even for the team members.

Fire Bomber demonstrate their songs in front of people concerned with music. The venue is attacked by Vampires, and Rei is injured protecting Akiko.

Basara and Mylene act in the TV movie "The Lynn Minmei Story".

Related Matter: Rei's Unified Forces Period
Before the formation of Fire Bomber, Rei was an ace Unified Forces pilot, and teamed up in the Pink Pecker Squadron together with best friends Stephan and Kinryu. However, he withdrew from the armed forces because Stephen was killed in action due to Rei's miscalculation while fighting with the Zentraadi remnants. He lost his reason to live, and encountered the very young Basara in his wandering. The Rei that noticed the possibilities in Basara's singing voice is considered to have entrusted his own dream to Basara's songs and formed Fire Bomber.

Caption: The Rei that left the armed forces by personally taking responsibility for losing his best friend, also backed away from fighting itself.

Caption: Rei's inability to shoot a gun pointed at a Vampire was because of the impact of the bitter experience he once had.
