Related Matter: The Sound Buster Operation
The Sound Buster Operation, which Dr. Chiba proposed as the trump card in the Anti Geperunicchi battle, was a large-scale operation that used the Battle 7's Gun Ship. The operation is one that used the Gun Ship's Space Fold System to feed Song Energy into the Protodevilun's body, inducing a paralysis by delivering Song Energy into every corner of the cells, and finally sealing up the Protodevilun. However, the systems' modifications were not finished by the time the operation was carried out, and the operation ended in failure.

Related Matter: The Battle 7 Reconstruction Plan
Although the Protodevilun threat had left, the Macross 7 Fleet, which had lost the Battle 7, was temporarily stationed in the Varohta Star System, and conducted a reorganization. However, the repair work was rough going, as the damage was more than expected (it appears that the reconstruction of the Battle 7 in particular took time), and they were continuing the reconstruction plan even in 2047, which was a year after the disturbances.
