Related Matter: The Galactic Whales That Are Being Poached
There is a reason why the Poaching Group aims at the Galactic Whales. It has been made public that the propulsive organs of the Galactic Whales, who make a seasonal space migration that takes about 1 year, can be diverted into a source of power for space ships (like the Vajra, who can penetrate Fold Faults, it seems that the Galactic Whales also have advanced propulsion organs insider their bodies). For that reason, although the whales are under the protection of the Galactic Scientific Society, the poaching of the Galactic Whales, whose parts have high-priced transactions on the black market, is never ending, and the local Patrol Corps also rack their brains over protecting the whales.

Caption: As far as the Poaching Group was concerned, the Galactic Whales that seasonally migrate in a pack, appeared as prey, as the group aimed at getting rich quick.

Caption: Besides the Poaching Group, there seems to have been people on planet Zola who aimed at the Galactic Whales (pictured is Graham).

Related Matter: The Legend Of The Galactic Whales
The mystery of the Galactic Whales' ecology and seasonal migration, which are performed with a series of events, are not obvious. However, it is possible to surmise a part of it from the Zolan literature that was discovered in the Galactic Whale graveyard on planet Zola. According to the letters that were engraved on the Whales' remains, "The pack of Ba-raena (Galactic Whales) who flow in the galaxy come to the lands of Zola, where we live. 7,000 hours are counted, and they come to draw the strength of the land and lower their bodies to it. A White Ba-raena with a count of several million, is at the head of the group. The White Ba-raena watches over and laments the pack of Ba-raena, who search for the graveyard, and die. The people call the giant White Ba-raena a god, and fear it." From those engravings, one can guess that the seasonal migration of the Galactic Whales was something that they have done over an extended period of time.
