#03 The Frontier Fleet And The Vajra Conflict
The "Galactic Fairy" Operation originated with the Frontier Fleet government having ignored the SOS signal from the Galaxy Fleet. At first, even though the operation had the objective of rescuing the Galaxy Fleet, the state of affairs changed to an unforeseen situation.

Related Matter: Ranka's Lost Memories
As the daughter of Ranshe Mei, Ranka is a survivor of Gaul 4, which was attacked and destroyed by the Vajra. She has a dissociative amnesia due to that experience, and doesn't have any memories related to events that occurred in her past. However, the memories of those days are resurrected when the Vajra attack the Frontier Fleet, and she recognizes that she (her songs) was the trigger that caused the major incident. She sang to lure the Vajra, and bravely fought. However, as it seems that she's unable to constantly recall all of the memories, she was intensely shaken when she later learnt that Brera is her older brother.

Caption: Ranka, who could emit Fold Waves, sang "Aimo" when she was in her childhood, and the tragedy occurred.

Caption: Young Ranka, her mother Ranshe, and her older brother Brera were happy day after day. However, Ranka lost even the memories of her family.

Related Matter: The Tornado Pack
In mission code "Galactic Fairy", Aruto's aircraft is equipped with the Tornado Pack as an armament for the VF-25. Besides being furnished with a large rotating beam gun on the back, it has mobile engine pods added to the main wings. Also, a lot of micro-missiles are built into it. As a result, the Tornado Pack drastically improved the VF-25's the VF-25's three-dimensional manoeuvrability along with its fire power. It showed great abilities in battle in both outer space and inside Island 1. In addition, as the Tornado Pack is something for implementing the functions of the later produced YF-29 on the VF-25, it seems to have been extremely high-performance and highly priced equipment.

Caption: As the beam gun is a revolving type, it has few blind spots. It was extremely useful in the battle with the numerous Vajra.

Caption: The mobile engine pods not only merely increased the VF-25's thrust, but also enhanced its manoeuvrability during dogfights.
