The Macross No.2 Ship SDF-2
The newly made Macross No.2 ship differs from the SDF-1, which is a remodelled ASS-1. It was being built on the Moon Apollo Base from November, 2003.

Caption: [FB] It wasn't completed when the war started. It escaped the fires of war, and was remodelled as the Emigrant Ship Megaroad 01 after the war.

Grand Cannon II to V
Wide-Area Destruction Weapons buried underground. Although a total of 5 were advancing in construction in various places on the Earth, the second cannon was blown up by the Anti Unification Alliance, and the third to fifth cannons weren't completed in time for the war.

Caption: Only the first cannon in the Alaska Base was completed. Even though it destroyed 800,000 enemy ships, it was hit and lost in the counterattack.

Extra Report: The Ship Of Destiny, The Macross
The alien Space Battleship ASS-1, which fell on South Ataria Island in the South Pacific, made the existence of giant aliens and a large-scale interstellar war known to the Earth. Also, the Macross, which is the repaired ASS-1, controlled the fate of the Earth with such things as being the impetus for the Zentraadi to attack the Earth, and the outbreak of the interstellar war.

Up: SDF-1 Macross
The Macross, the repaired ASS-1, is a large ship that reaches a length of 1,200 m. It is equipped with a main gun that's a kind of Heavy Quantum Reaction Beam Gun, and Reaction Weapons. It is also loaded with such things as Variable Fighters (hereafter VF).

Caption: After the Space Fold accident, close to 60,000 civilians were accommodated in it, an urban area was constructed within the warship, and the Macross became the prototype City Space Ship.

Caption: The transformation to Storming Attack Form was a desperate measure in order to fire the main gun after the Fold System disappeared.

Even though they won the interstellar war, the Earth was devastated and the population also rapidly decreased. In addition, problems, such as coexistence with the Zentraadi, formed a huge pile.

The Rebuilding Of The Earth
The Earth's urban facilities and environment were annihilated by the enemy's orbital bombardment. Because of that, they made progress in the "Earth Regeneration Plan", which aimed at the construction of cities and the restoration of the natural environment.

Caption: Macross City, the core city on the Earth, was constructed centred on the Macross, which had descended to the surface of the Earth.

The Zentraadi Insurrections
Although the Zentraadi had chosen to coexist with the Earthlings, there were those who couldn't adapt themselves to the Earth, and they generated the "First Macross City Defensive Battle" in January, 2012.

Caption: The dissatisfied Zentraadi led by Kamujin Kravushera and Rapu Lamizu rose in revolt.
