United Nations Army Soldier OCC |
---|

Where the Marines serve aboard Unifed Space Forces vessels and Unified Forces Navy ships, the men and women of the Unified Forces Army protect the Unified Armed Forces interests and civilians on the ground. They are a regular sight around military checkposts, and are used for both military and civilian action. It is the Unified Forces Army that helps with forest fires, floods, and other natural disasters to assist the civilian populace.
The minimum starting age for a Unified Forces Army Soldier is 16.
Pre-requisite requirements
PE 9. A high ME, PS, and PP are also preferred, but not necessary.

Army Infantryman (4 weeks MOS training)
Prerequisites: PS 10, PE 10, Spd 10 Despite their reputation as the "grunts", the infantry are, and always have been, the backbone of the army, sharing a spirit that is rare in any other branch. Also know as "Joe", "the PBI's", or "squaddies", they remain the core of the army's fighting force. MOS Skills Camouflage +20% Wilderness Survival +20% Land Navigation +20% Climbing +10% WP: Heavy Weapons Calvary Scout (6 weeks MOS training) Prerequisites: PE 10, PP 10, Spd 12 Calvary Scouts are the eyes of the army - they are fielded just ahead of the main body of an advance. Of the enlisted MOS's selected for advancement to warrant or commission status and Valkyrie piloting, the cav scout is the most likely choice. MOS Skills Pilot Tank +10% Weapon Systems +15% Land Navigation +20% Climbing +10% Prowl +10% Combat Engineer (3 months MOS training) Combat Engineers are responsible for placing and obstructing routes, for the movement of the armed forces, whether it be clearing invasion beaches, minefields and obstacles, or laying bridges, paving roads, or preparing airfields. MOS Skills Basic Construction +15% Demolitions +10% Demolitions Disposal +10% Trap & Mine Detection +15% WP: Flamethrower Communications Specialist (4 months MOS training) Communications Specialists are the third leg of the Holy Trinity of the Army: Shoot, Move, and Communicate. As such, they are underappreciated, but vital to the continued existence of any long-term operation. MOS Skills Radio: Basic +20% Radio: Scramblers +20% Radio: Satellite Relay +15% Optics +15% Basic Electronics +10% Computer Operations (6 months MOS training) Prerequisites: IQ 10 This rather broad MOS includes computer operators, network installers, and maintenance technicians. Because a soldier can be assigned to any of these roles with this MOS, he is trained for all of them; albiet not in the depth that the other MOS's may get. MOS Skills Compter Operations +10% Computer Programming +10% Computer Hacking +5% (Optional - GM's choice) Basic Electronics +10% Any 2 Electrical Skills +10% Destroid Commando Pilot/Gunner (12 months MOS training) Many thought that the birth of the Destroids and Valkyries would be the death of the tank - fortunately they coexist, though they share a rivalry as strong as any between rival services. Army Destroid operators control the service's artillery assets, as well as a large portion of its mobile striking power. MOS Skills Pilot Robots & Power Armour +10% Destroid Pilot Elite +25% Destroid Combat: choose type Navigation +10% Weapon Systems +15% Field Medic (4 months MOS training) The Field Medic is a highly-trained, highly-motivated soldier essential to any platoon. Though most soldiers dread having to use him, when needed, he is rarely turned away; and his training is instrumental in the preservation of the Unified Forces Army forces. MOS Skills Paramedic +10% Field Surgery +10% Pathology +5% Mechanical Engineer (3 months MOS training) The Mechanical Engineer can be found in any unit, working in the motor pool, or just acting as a transport operator. Their wide variety of vehicle skills make them a valuable addition to any ground-fighting unit. MOS Skills Basic Mechanics +10% Any 2 Mechanic Skills +5% Auto Mechanics +10% Pilot Truck +20% Pilot Tank/APC +15% |
Military Intelligence (2 months MOS training)
Prerequisities: IQ 10 Though limited largely to electronic intercepts, prisonner interrogation, and photographic analysis, the MI people are still occasionally called upon to lend field assistance. They are widely regarded as useless, largely because of faults not in processing, but in distributing information. MOS Skills Radio: Basic +5% Computer Operations +20% Military Intelligence +15% Interrogation +15% Surveillance +15% Language of choice +10% Electronic Warfare +15% Photography +20% Military Policeman (2 months MOS training) Disliked by most soldiers, MPs are found on any post, ableit in small numbers. In the field, they handle prisonners, and control traffic routing. However, boredom leads some to overzealous performance of their duties. MOS Skills WP Auto Pistol WP Blunt Military Etiquette +15% Interrogation +15% Surveillance +15% Power Armour Specialist (3 months MOS training) The men and women of the army's elite assault teams, the Power Armour Specialists are thought by many to be full-bore crazy, much as the first paratroopers were. They are merely after a greater challenge than any offered by the line service. MOS Skills Pilot Robots & PA +10% Pilot Elite: UN Power Armour +25% Mecha Combat: Cyclops Navigation +15% WP: Heavy Weapons Scout (2 months MOS training) Prerequisits: ME 12, PE 12 Scouts, or pathfinders, are responsible for spearhead operations - large units of scouts are known as pathfinders, and hit an area just ahead of an initial invasion to mark and clear landing zones. Individual scouts are used as pointment in line squads. The risks in the life of a Scout are high, but so are the prospects... if he survives. MOS Skills Prowl +25% Camouflage +25% Nuclear, Biological, & Chemical (NBC) Warfare +20% Parachuting +15% WP: Knife WP: SMG Sniper (3 months MOS training) Prerequisits: ME 14, PE 12 Snipers are sent out in pairs, either on general interdiction or on "headhunter" missions, against military targets, and military targets only. They can reach targets untouchable by the rest of the Army. MOS Skills Sniper +2 to hit Prowl +25% Detect Concealment +10% Camouflage +25% Intelligence +20% Body Building & Weight Lifting WP: Bolt Action Rifle Special Forces (6 months MOS training) Prerequisits: IQ 8, ME 10, PS 12, PP 14, also must have completed three years as another MOS before applying for the Special Forces MOS. Starting rank of Sergeant The Special Forces are one of the most feared units amongst the Anti-UN, and Renegade Zentraadi. The Special Forces units are intelligent, resourceful, and deadly individuals, from a wide background. MOS Skills SCUBA +10% Lore: Special Forces Tactics +20% Intelligence +20% Pilot Robots & PA +10% Mecha Combat: UNSM Power Armour NBC Warfare +20% Parachuting +15% WP: Knife WP: SMG Hand To Hand: Expert Tank/APC Driver (3 months MOS training) The thrill of driving several tons of metal at full speed toward the enemy is quite attractive to a certain breed - the tanker belives completely in hos own invincibility. Few can disprove him. MOS Skills Pilot Tanks & APC's +10% Weapon Systems +15% Auto Mechanics +10% Land Navigation +10% Read Sensory Instruments +10% |
