UNSDB: Medical Officer OCC |
---|
As the UN Armed Forces personnel are frequently coming into harms way, injuries will happen, and fully trained and qualified Medical Doctors are required to administer to the sick and injured. Most Medical Officers will not see action except perhaps in ship to ship combat. Most of the time they are safe behind friendly lines in a Surgical hospital. However many are required on the frontlines and administer to the sick and injured there on the battlefield.. Medical Officers must finish University before they can begin their Medical training. Training which lasts 6 years. Which prospective Medical Students begin at the age of 21 after University completion which explains why Medical officers have a minimum age of 27. This is offset by their starting rank of Captain however.
