UNSDB: Mercenary OCC

The Mercenary is an individual who looks for the money in combat. They will often hire themselves out to the highest bidder regardless of which side that puts them on, as their primary concern is to make money. There are however those Mercenary's who are not in it for the money but for their love of combat, the thrill and rush of engaging the enemy. For them the money is an added bonus. Some Mercenary's will hire themselves out for work other than front line combat duty, many becoming Bodyguards or Assassins. The pay is better, as are the conditions and generally the chances of living. There is no set starting age that a mercenary can start this career however most Mercenary units will not accept anyone younger than 16, and even then expect them to under go several gruelling months of unforgiving training.

Wages & Rank
The Mercenary makes whatever the Company, Battalion, Regiment Commander decides. If they are independant it can be anywhere from 1,000 to 10,000 credits a month.

Whatever they can afford, or their employer or Mercenary Commander provides them with (GM's discretion).

Experience Points/Levels
The Mercenary uses the same chart as the UN Soldier in regard to experience points and levels.
