UNSDB: UN Navy Bridge Officer OCC |
---|
The giant sea-going Warships of the UN Navy are pilot and guided by more than just their Captains. The Prometheus and Daedalus vessels, and smaller frigates, Cruisers, and Patrol Boats are all pilot by UN Navy Bridge Officers. The Navy admits personnel as young as 16 to begin training for Bridge Officer roles, culminating at the end of their 2 year training with an Officers Commision, and a position aboard a Warship. Much like their UN Spacy counterparts Bridge Officers are on fast-tracks to Command positions if they so wish them. When they graduate they will be assigned the rank of Ensign, and assigned to a UN Navy Warship. The minimum starting age for a Bridge Officer is 18
