Pro-Zentrādi humanized Zentrādi—friendly... if you're Zentrādi. While technologically more advanced than the neighbouring factions (they produce and use advanced forms of Mobile Weapons, such as the Stealth Rigādo and Stealth Gurāji), Elissa has to contend with some poor quality planets. Due to that, the focus of their energies is internal—to develop technologies and worlds to be able to support their large populations. Elissa is on good terms with the Unified Government and other colonists in sector M45-3, and both sides respect each others borders and actively persue trade. Most of Elissa's external troubles, however, come from the neighbouring factions, and they have been forced to abandon a few more distant star systems to create a more secure defensive line. They are effectively beseiged by the more beligerent factions—Aodh, Herodion, Elpis, and to a lesser extent, Vasu—who regularly dispatch raiders into the no-man's land between the Elissa, Herodion, and Elpis territories. The relationship with Hulda is much more complex. On the one hand, they try to maintain a good relationship and active trade routes with the faction. On the other hand, Hulda is actively seeking ways to circumvent Hulda's inspections and taxations on trade passing through its territory. While both factions actively avoid open warfare, skirmishes tend to break out whenever Elissa forces discover Hulda ships secretly transiting their territory. The Elissa faction would like to expand into the New Territories to increase its resources and to find more hospitable planets for its population to live on. However, as most of the stars there are too distant and as they currently can't afford to divert part of their fleet to protecting convoys heading to and from there, their territorial expansion plans are on hold.

While an ideal planet on paper, the dense atmosphere makes Yuuma a hard place to live on. Most people live inside domed cities or underground—with a large percentage of the population devoted to maintaining the structures and breathable atmosphere inside. Overall, the planet is agrarian focused, and while it is an exporter of foodstuffs to planets in the faction, it is a net importer of finished goods.
