BACKGROUND
Remodeled version of the Stonewell/Bellcom VF-1 Valkyrie with an enlarged airframe and intended to have an improved transformation system and offered as an ability improved unit in the VF-1's development plan. The Battroid silhouette is reminiscent of the VF-1, but aims to improve the defensive abilities of the multiple armored cockpit block and radome. The VF-3000 aimed at enhanced performance and equipment improvements by enlarging the VF-1, while simultaneously eliminating its shortcomings based on extensive operational data. As a result, the VF-3000's performance surpassed the VF-1's. However, the VF-3000 was never mass produced because of the Unified Force's adoption of the VF-4 Lightning III, which was developed at the same time.
Development of the VF-3000 started as one of the ability improvement units for the VF-1 development plan at a time when the issue of a successor to the VF-1 emerged. However, it remained out of full-scale mass production because adoption of the VF-4, as the successor to the VF-1, and a small number were produced for testing. Operation data of the testing units were reflected in the development of the VF-5000 Star Mirage and a few testing units were deployed with the special operations unit "Dancing Skulls" (around 2020).
Intended to be licensed by independent national factions within the United Nations with proprietary technologies incorporated by each. Because the design had a stretched elongated body compared to the VF-1 Valkyrie, the joints tended to slip slightly. As a result, only a few units were produced. Stonewell Bellcom (the division formed from the later merger of Stonewell and Bellcom) and Shinnakasu developed the VF-5000 from the VF-3000 design, and produced the VF-5000 after the companies' Aerospace Development Divisions merged to form Shinsei Industry.
The VF-3000 Crusader was developed some time between 2012 and 2018.

- DAMAGE: 1D6x10 M.D.
- RANGE: 6 m
ARMAMENTS
1. MAULER ROV-22 and LARGE-BORE ANTI-AIRCRAFT LASER GUNS:
Mounted on the head when in battroid mode, and located on the underbelly when in GERWALK and Fighter. In Battroid, the laser guns can rotate 360° and have a 90° vertical arc of fire. The head unit can be deployed in GERWALK, and can rotate 180° with a 90° vertical arc of fire (from the front down to the feet.) In jet mode, the laser cannons are limited to firing only on targets directly in front of the VF-3000 or within a 90° vertical arc from the nose down.
Large Laser Gun (1)
- RANGE: 2,500 m
- DAMAGE: 1D10 MD per round. 1D10X10 MD per 10 round burst. Refer to the Gun Pods and Beam Machine Gun Burst and Spray Rules for alternatives.
- RATE OF FIRE: 30 rounds per melee. The large laser gun is limited to bursts of 10 or 20 rounds per attack.
- PAYLOAD: Effectively Unlimited.
MAULER ROV-22 Laser Guns (2)
- RANGE: 1,220 m
- DAMAGE: 1D4 MD per round. 1D4X10 MD per 10 round burst. Refer to the Gun Pods and Beam Machine Gun Burst and Spray Rules for alternatives.
- RATE OF FIRE: 40 rounds per melee. The ROV-22 is limited to bursts of 10 or 20 rounds per attack.
- PAYLOAD: Effectively Unlimited.
2. GU-11D 55 mm TRI-BARREL GUN POD:
The GU-11D is the standard equipment of the VF-1P and VF-3000, and is the second generation VF-1 use gun pod. Its greatest point of improvement is that it can exchange magazines; and it can carry diverse warheads for public order maintenance actions. The magazine cover is opened and the magazine is set in the socket under the main body of the gun pod. The GU-11D also uses propelled type warheads within the atmosphere, and by reducing the shooting recoil, it has improved accuracy. Another advantage is the extension of the gun pod's maintenance intervals. A bayonet unit can also be installed in the cover.
Standard tracer bullets (even though it's visible light in the atmosphere, another method is used in space) are observed with a sensor thats parallel to the muzzle to see the gun pod's shooting axis line. There is an optical sensor that collects the data necessary for firing the gun pod in the foremost part of the top. It coordinates firing information with such things as the radar installed within the aircraft.
- RANGE: 1,100 m
- DAMAGE: 1D12+4 per round. 1D8X10 MD per 5 round burst. Refer to the Gun Pods and Beam Machine Gun Burst and Spray Rules for alternatives.
- BAYONET DAMAGE: 3D4x10 M.D. per strike.
- RATE OF FIRE: Equal to the pilot's combined number of attacks. The GU-11 isn't limited to bursts of 5, 10, 20 or 120 rounds.
- PAYLOAD: 120 rounds. Additional ammo clips can be inserted, but exchanging clips requires the VF-3000 to be in battroid or GERWALK mode, and takes 2 actions to reload. In general, spare clips are not carried.
3. ARM MICRO-MISSLE LAUNCHERS
Each lower arm sections in GERWALK and Battroid contains a micro-missile launcher. The missiles can only be fired when the arms are deployed (they are folded up inside the airframe in Fighter).
- MISSILE TYPES: Erlikon GA-100 Crusher High-Speed Armor-Penetrating micro-missiles, though any type of Micro Missile can be used.
- RATE OF FIRE: Volleys of 1 to 2 per launcher.
- PAYLOAD: 2 missiles per arm, for a total of 4.
4. Wing Hard Points (6)
There are 3 pivoting hardpoints on the underside of each main wing, for a total of 6. The VF-3000 can mount a combination of missiles or missiles and missile-launchers. All hardpoints are capable of mounting most former United States/NATO standard aviation weaponry. Refer to Missiles FCS 10's for further details, and Missiles & FCS Basics for alternatives.
Note: the wings can be deployed in Battroid, allowing hardpoint ordinance to be used.
- AMM-1 Arrow Hybrid Guided Multipurpose Missle: 3 per harpoint.
- UUM-7 Micro-missile Launcher Pod: 1 per hardpoint.
- Mk.82 Snakeye Bomb: 3 per hardpoint.
- GBU-10C Paveway II Bomb: 1 per hardpoint.
- RMS-1 Reaction Cruise Missile: 1 per hardpoint. In general, 4 are mounted on the outer hardpoints with 2 UUM-7 pods on the inner hardpoints.
- Reaction Warhead Bombs: 1 per hardpoint.
- External Fuel Tank: the tanks are used to extend the cruising range, and are dropped when the vehicle enters combat. Usually only a single pair are installed on the innermost hard points.
5. HAND TO HAND COMBAT
If necessary, the pilot of the VF-3000 can engage in melee combat rather than use a weapon. The VF-3000 is extremely agile, and can execute most typical hand to hand combat moves; such as punches, jump kicks, leap attacks, rolling with impacts, etc..
